Change

The LORD Almighty has spoken--who can change his plans? When his hand moves, who can stop him?" Isa. 14:27
"For I, the LORD, do not change; therefore you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed. Mal. 3:6

My word of the day is CHANGE.
I love that God is unchanging. Something that we can stand on
. The Lord almighty has spoken and the word is Jesus! No matter what I do, no matter what you do, or the President or a King / Queen does. When God moves his hand who can stop him, or change His plans? He says He does not change.
I pray that God will change me though. That He will mold me and shape me into what He wants me to be so that I might be able to minister to others for Him. I once read a devotion that said, when I feel broken I have to remember that before Jesus fed the 5000, He broke the bread and the fish. I don't like the feeling of being broken, but if that is what it takes then I will submit. After all He was broken and beaten for me.
The words to a song by Everafter, are wonderful.

Lord, these lips get me in trouble
So many times a day
I'm so often feeling sorry
For the careless things I say
Your word says deep inside of me
Is where the trouble starts
My mouth just overflows
With what's already in my heart

So starting now
Starting now

Chorus:
All that I am
Is on the altar of You
Change my motivations
Change my attitude
'Cuz I can't change myself
But, Lord I know You can
All that I am is on the altar
So You can alter all that I am

Take this love of reputation
From this prideful heart of mine
Take out the prejudice, the arrogance
The selfishness You find
And if there's unforgiveness
Or some long forgotten grudge
Replace it with humility
Obedience and love

Chorus

I want everything I am
To be all that You're about
So Lord I'm asking You
To make me new
From the inside out

Chorus

Thankful

A psalm. For giving thanks. Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalm 100

Thank you Lord for all that you have given to our family. Thank you Father for the trials that teach me to trust in you even more each day. Thank you for Your wonderful love letter. Thank you for Jesus, my salvation and your faithfulness to all of my family.

Our Great God.

How GREAT is our God! He has provided for us. I have been canning fresh green beans, and tomatoes and salsa. My pantry is well on the way to being stocked for the winter for my family. I love saving on the grocery bills too. =D
I will be glad when it slows down a little though. I have so much crocheting and quilting to do before the middle of September gets here. Our little church and several friends have also been blessed with precious little ones this past year.
